Mikael Laine appointed Moventas President & CEO
Mikael Laine, Senior Vice President of Business development and corporate functions, has been appointed the President and CEO of Moventas companies as of 1 March 2012.
Current President and CEO of Moventas companies, Moventas Wind Oy and Moventas Santasalo Oy, Jukka Jäämaa , is leaving the company on 31 March 2012, as he takes on a new senior role in another company outside Finland. He will support the transition during March.
Mikael Laine has been employed by Moventas since 2008 as the Senior Vice President in charge of Business development and corporate functions and as a member of the corporate management team. Before joining Moventas, Laine was the CEO of YAP Solutions and before that, the CFO of TeliaSonera Finland.

Clyde Blowers, the global industrial engineering group, completed the acquisition of the Moventas companies on 8 February, 2012. The change of President and CEO is not related to the acquisition.
